He played for a New York team though.

I am not sure but I think the answer is Rogers Hornsby. Right?

Q. How many home runs has Barry Bonds hit as a Pittsburgh Pirate?

That would be Tom Seaver.

Q: Who was the last player, besides Ted Williams, to hit 400?

I believe the answer would have to be two no-hitters after the age of 40. I definitley remember the one against the Toronto Blue Jays because it was his last no-hitter of his career.

Q. Which pitcher struck out 19 batters against the San Diego Padres on April 22nd, 1970?

Toronto hasn't been around forever... only like, since the 70's... I would say... 1995?

Yes, it is Qualcomm Stadiums...Bonds hit a little over 10 percent of his homers in that ballpark (i believe that number stands at 73 or something in the 70s)

next question--probably a little too hard:

The Detroit Tigers have won the season series with Toronto this year. When was the last time they did that?

This is just a guess but I think the answer is Qualcomm Stadium. I do remember hime hitting a lot of home runs there and that is the first Stadium that came into my head but I am not sure if I am right or not.

otaku: I think he was looking for something more. I say they were all former Expos. If I'm right, we go with your question, because I'm LAAAZY.

(Clarification: They didn't all START their careers with the Expos... Pedro came up as a Dodger. If you're counting Randy Johnson as an Expo since he played there for a year and a half, you can't count Pedro, because he put in that much time as well.)

They have all been all-stars?

Q. What do Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez and Larry Walker have in common?

(This is an easy question).

Yup. Two perfect innings of relief, too. Your question.

Well, Jayson Stark talked about him in his Useless Info Dept. column, if it helps. He's also been tagged by another ESPN.com columnist as a beneficiary of nepotism.

Carlton Fisk : 376
Johnny Bench : 389

Toxic: Nope. But he was the second. And as far as I know, Kieshnick hasn't done anything yet, but at least as far as Yahoo's fantasy baseball system goes, he's listed as a relief pitcher.

Dammit, anyways, fudge, there was a guy, but I can't remember what damn team he's on. *ponders*

To the most homeruns by a catcher question. The answer is Carlton Fisk. I know this one, because I'm sick of hearing Piazza carry on about how the Mets are moving him to first base, and he won't beat Fisk's record.

Assuming the above is right, Johnny Bench. But not for long... Piazza's gonna catch long enough to overtake him.

Q: Who was the first position player to pitch this season? What team is he on?

Wasn't that Dave McCarty today, for the Sox?
There's that guy on the Brewers, but I dunno if he did yet.
