Oh, maybe I was thinking of another hack you had said something about (It was a while ago) Well, then I have no clue what Todadeeboy was talking about.

I actually feel that the Mario graphics fit very well in to JAMH. Which is why I haven't complained about that, ever.

I know what you meant (I wonder if anybody else did? ), but my hack isn't supposed to have a Mario-like aspect throughout the entire game, just part of it (I haven't done as much of the Mario-like gfx as the other types yet). Anyway, I fully understand what your saying and it makes perfect sense,... as long as the gfx isn't only coming from SMAS (because SMAS gfx is starting to get overused by everyone, that's another reason I haven't used very much of it). I would like to create areas of my game that remind me of the old Mario 3 Cartoons, but I haven't figured out how to go about that yet. (BTW: anyone know where I can download those?) My hack is meant to be more of an extream game for the most part (I don't think I can explain that very well, but you get the idea, from seeing the kind of levels that are in my hack), but I am going to keep some Mario-like levels, and add some more, so the game doesn't lose all of its Mario-like aspect (gfx and level layouts mostly,... although many of my levels aren't completed yet, but they will be in while)

As far as JAHM goes, I don't think you meant anything bad by what you said about it. I personally think that its gfx are somewhat Mario-like, but also not Mario-like, so it's a little of both (it's cartoony looking, but not Mario-Cartoony).

I say one bad thing about JAMH and people hound me all over for it. Let me say this once more:

I REALLY LIKE JAMH. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THAT SOME PARTS OF IT SEEM A LITTLE DREARY, BUT THAT'S EASILY OVERLOOKED.

The reason I haven't made them very Mario-like is because it's a hack of Mario, which starts with Mario gfx. So what's the point of changing the gfx to basically the same thing, ..... unless of course, you were to come up with some really awsome Mario-like gfx that didn't come from any Mario game that currently exists, but rather from your own creation. There's no point in ripping SMAS gfx to use for the entire game, everyone's hack would look almost alike (besides the level layout and the OW layout).

Why do you keep saying that when you know people are going to ignore you? You're the only one who cares about the graphics "fitting in". Heck, Mario would look good in a real photo background!

Yes, it's quite nice. I must say, though, that he needs to change sprites as well as foregrounds, and he needs to change the blocks too. All the vast, expansive environments don't fit basic Mario World gfx.

I haven't shared some of my favorites either, but I at least plan to do so when my hack is completely finished. There's no real point in keeping it to myself after that.

I've submitted some of my GFX to the Workshop but I have some others I would NEVER let other people use. It depends on how good it looks to me. See, I've submitted 2 sets to the Workshop, and more in the future, but I am not going to share some of the time-consuming awesome sets in my first hack.

When my main interest is in SMW Editing again (which hopfully will be soon enough), I'll be glad to help you with whatever you need, but right now I'm really interested in 3D Game Making, so until then, I'll end up easily losing focus when editing SMW.

BTW (about my hack): I'm one of the only ones who has developed the gfx to the extent that I did (not all the gfx are ripped from other games), so if you have any questions about gfx editing, feel free to ask (I also know every aspect of Lunar Magic, so really ... if you have any other questions, I should be able to answer them).

Black Charizard, please try to not type in titles. It's annoying.
But yes, over simplifying something creates room for error.

Its a habit of mine to type in titles!

playstation3: yes thats exactly what i tried to explain

skateboarder11: i am very happy to hear about that
interested in old super mario brothers
like nes and maybe files from the
ExGFX workshop? i really like work what they did there
but it doesn't matter.. all what you can do/want is welcome
and i would be very very very happy about that

juggling joker: well.. i would share my work too.. but am a new in rom hacking
especially in this kind of graphic changing.
like i said: i just modified the levels with simple stuff

knuckles T15X: no no no no its simple enough for those who are better with
working & understanding the lunar magic editor i think.
i would like to spend more time with that.. but i am very busy
with my work and got not much time for learning

atma x: oh well.. i was falling off my chair after seeing your hack
it is very nice and i like it very much seems to be a hard work

I don't mind if you use my ExGfx from my Hack, but I wouldn't be very reliable if I were make you some ExGfx specifically desinged for your hack. Just ask Skateboarder 11, it's taken me a Month and a half to start working on his ExGfx. I'm finally doing it now, but I feel bad for how long I've made him wait. At the time, I had a lot of school work (they seem to like to give me a lot of work right before graduation) and it was hard for me to get his ExGfx done, but it still shouldn't have taken me over a month to start. I like to help people, but I have a hard time staying with any projects, unless I'm completely 100% interested in it, and even at that, I may slowly start to lose interest in it (or even when I promise to help someone with something small, I can never seem to finish the job. I tend to drag things out for a while, and then because I take so long, there's almost no point in doing it at all any more; It's not at all intentional, but It's just ends up not getting done a lot of times).

I'd like to help, but you'd end up waiting too long, so at least feel free to rip any ExGfx from my hack (since the're already made).

My Hack can be found here: http://home.comcast.net/~atma-x/SuperMarioWorldUltima.htm
(For everyone else's info: The last updated I've made was on April 27, some more changes have been since last time, but Level desing is still seeming a little slow in progress right now)
I also have a new Title Screen, but the FG gfx aren't completed yet. The BG is done and the Level Layout is done (unless I decide to add some more enemies later on). And just know that the wierd thing at the end of the Title Screen Level is meant to be a Big Star (hopefully I'll get around to making the gfx for it soon).
