That's kinda neat.. but damn it reminds me of those intelligence tests where I had to think in 3D. I guess for a sequel to that you could always try making it look like something  . |

Isometric art... hehe. Alot of Sim games uses Isometric view. 
It looks good for a starter, but try to do something that actually is something. 
For me, it looks like a logo for something with the letter i. |

darkslayer, that's probably one of the least constructive comments you can give here. argh. ARGH.
I like gravy's idea of making it into a GCN logo.. or something. If it's something it'll be prone to more praise, yeah? I mean it's good, but it doesn't seem to be anything.. it seems simple.
Although it is your first art, and it's great that you can pick up the concept well. |

I like isometric pixel art. For some reason, it just all looks so neat and clean. Very slick, I like it.
I made my own isometric thingy too. Basically it was just a random worm-like platform thingy on an isometric grid.
Anyway, nice job. Is that supposed to actually BE something, or is it just a random abstract figure?
With a few mods, it kinda looks like a garage to a house. |

I don't understand this new isometric shapes in pixel art. What's so special about it that regular graphics can't handle?
Regardless of that, yours looks good, although I'm not exactly sure what it is. The borders on the front side are much lighter than the sides, which I suppose gives it a light source, but the lightsource seems to be coming from above, so it makes that light border look out of place.
The window on the side has a lightsource problem as well. Unless there's a light fixture in there we can't see, why is the bottom pabel so bright?
Aside from the lighting problems I notice, I'd say that looks pretty good for your first iso stuff To be honest, mine didn't turn out good at all.... |
