I've seen the entire series, subbed.
I first watched the dub way back in 1995, and I thought it was cool so I kept watching it for a while. Today, it's still one of my favorite series, and I'm an active fan of the Live Action series. Info can be found at:

in america...they were cousins in japan...it wasn't really clear--nowhere in the series did it explicitly say they were lovers (i did watch all of Sailor Moon S). however, one could wonder if it was anything more... the same thing could go for the relationship between zoesite and that other guy...

May I ask, did you only see the american version (the one where the two Outter Scouts are sister or something like that, instead of lovers, that how they have it in Japan)? |

I used to watch Sailor Moon all the time when it was on Toonami. Not because I like it, so much as it was just because it was Anime. Before I got Toonami I was Anime-Deprived so once I got it I watched every Anime I could get my 'eyes' on. The theme song is still stuck in my head....
"Fighting evil by daylight making love by moonlight always lookin for a good fight! she is the one called Sailor Moon!"
I know thats not exactly how it goes but thats the way I remember it. |

heh...watched sailor moon since the first day it came out in america...then after I learned where anime really comes from...then, I knew I just had to watch the japanese version...and shun all anime that has been americanized for mainstream (or well, the known target audience is elementary school kids anyways)
I watched Sailor Moon Classic, Sailor Moon R, and Sailor Moon S last week before my finals...(yeah, I didn't study for my finals until the day they came ) I was about to watch Sailor Moon SuperS but um...i lost interest...I will hopefully pick it up again soon...maybe even today |

I mean, I got into Sailor Moon in '97, when I was 17 and it was because a friend of mine showed me the Japan version of the anime. So I was never really exposed to the american, crappy version. Thank goodness. |

Anyway, hate the american version of the anime. Urg....it's just, well, wrong how the kiddie it up so much.
I've got Sailor Moon S on DVD, Sailor Stars on VHS, all the movies on VHS, and now I'm trying to get them all on DVD, most likey starting with ther orginal series from Japan (and I just got the R and Super S movie on DVD).
We got the american series here, they were not good, it more showed them as a girly show which i really hate
The original was the best, as the story lines were new and people didn't know what to expect. I guess i liked the original the best as i could follow it properly even if i missed an ep. |

My opinion about the anime, it sucks. And it has scarred me for the rest of my life :/ But the Live Action series is quite good, really good if you still have some humour.
As for the swedish dub, as with almost any other dubs, it's pure crap. |

That explains why it... here it's seems like it was made for girls mainly. And it's not that kiddy but it's still is... yeah.
Thought there were some nudity, I recall... hehe. But not much. |

Not to mention that she has the most talent*.
*That joke refers to an episode of Sailor Moon where the five inner senshi were auditioning for a play, and Makoto thrusts out her chest and says she should get the part because she has the biggest breasts. The line is changed to her saying she has the most talent in the American version. |

Sailor Moon was cool, it was the first anime I ever saw and is still on my top 10 favorites list. I loved how they built up the characters introducing them with their cool powers. Jupitor and Venus were my favorite.
It's such a pitty they canceled the eps here as they were getting excellent rating. Replaced by that Jacky Chang show
It's left a good impression on me to answer your question. The hole atmosphere of good and evil really showed, and it kept the show going by introducing new characters. I remember going to school dress-up day as Sailor Jupitor (as i am brunette) I won second prize for my costume |

I admit, I have seen my share of Sailor Moon in my day. It was alright (not sure how it stacks up, considering the only anime I had seen to that point was just DBZ).
