The text is like really hard to read, but other than that it should work wonders. Widescreen avatars though.. it is an evil beyond my wildest dreams.

Hai hai...that's what I figured.

But if we catch each other online, we still could do a match, but since I loosed slowly and painfully in Mario Kart DD over the net, I didn't play anymore without asking how good the other player is.
So you got warppipe to work? I hadn't even tested... I want to test if I can connect to you with the warp pipe program. After all I won't bother buying a BBA thingy before i'm sure it will work...

Yep, it did work, so, just try to catch me on IRC, will be on today evening.

A bit off topic, but speaking of warp pipe, Ailure, does anyone know what ever happened to that experiment they were doing with the human warp pipes that were supposed to be super fast transporation? I didn't think it would be possible without some carrier for the person, but they were just gonna try sending a human uncovered through... what happened???

That was...by far...one of the best attempts by a lamer/banned that I have seen in quite a while at giving compliments.

Imoto: Up to you...I figure if anything I catch you in IRC...and if nothing else it's a good time killer...as of late it's not like I've been looking for any extreme competition or anything (that died when zbattle.net did) so...up to you.

@Gandalf: Not bad, have Cable here, with a PIII 450MHz. And I think I'm worse than you. (Seldom chaines over 2x or 3x. And in Single Player Infinite, My record is [Easy][Speedlvl: 47].

Eheheh...gomen...so you were attempting to evade. Might ask Ailure...he's around that level.

Gandalf...I believe the worst I've seen is a Pentium Celeron 300 running with DSL...and I'm pretty sure worse have run...but I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. I had 56K on this comp for the longest time and going against people in the one TA tourney...I was pretty much in the green for lag...seldom did so in the game.

I guess it would just depend on your luck.

Na.. I just don't like to play with people way outa my league. That is..

@Ailure: I borrowed the idea of the '-e' from the card-es.

I love it, i never have played the game but you have done a good job, MS Paint is always a good program to use. I like how the hair flows down, and i thought at first that it was a mermaid

It looks nice, and your using the e-reader logo in a very nice way. I just like it. BTW which board is it?

Yes, we should do a Tetris attack tournament.

I really would like to play it, but two things might disturb it:
1.) I'm running an old PII *sigh*
2.) I have no broadband, but only ISDN 64k, thus the latency between DSL <-> smallband can be deadly ...
But since I played Mario Kart a few times only via ZBattle.det, I don't know how it is different to be connected directly via ZSNES (since tthe hacked ZBattle.net is down foever )

I'm not that good at all, except many poor x3s, x4s I rarely hit something above x7 chain, but I'll work on myself

And wasn't there this everlasting TA-Match Thread in the old boards?

If he doesn't, I'll take ya.

And as for TA threads...there was one for the Tetris Attack tourney via ZSNES in '02, that went to me, Danicess took second and I think Ace and someone else took third and fourth.

As for in general...there was a 'show-off' thread in General Emulation for a time back about a year ago where a few users traded shots about Tetris Attack in general, score-wise, screenshots, and the like. Against that competition...I'd have my ass handed to me. >.>

  • it's 200x85, not 85x200
  • 'widescreen' is a 16x9 aspect ratio (roughly 1.7777...), yours is closer to 7x3 ("anamorphic scope"; the wider of the two common movie aspect ratios)

that said, I like it and I like the aspect ratio. it'd be neat if this board used something like that, because, as we all know, wider is better.

a) Sorry, I sometime confuse the X with the Y axis.
b) Good to know. But I reffered to a picture, with clearly more X than Y, as widescreen (GBA, PSP, Cinema).

Yep, would be neat if I could use this ava in this board.

The game is called Panel de Pon, and is released for SNES and the Bandai Satellaview System, and with Dr. Mario and Yoshi's Cookie in the Nintendo Puzzle Collection for GCN.

The Game itself was released as:
1995: Panel de Pon (SNES)
1996: Tetris Attack (SNES)
1996: Yossi no Panepon (GB)
1996: Tetris Attack (SNES)
1998: Panel de Pon (BS-X)
2000: Pok

Either way, it's cute. It suits you.

If you want to play it, get a Japanese SNES cart/ROM, since in the other versions the anime stuff was replaced by Yoshis
By the way, pretty nice game. Even me, who does not like puzzle games at all (except Puyo Puyo clones ), got/is really addicted to Tetris Attacl, although not that good at all

Elias from Paneru De Pon!

She's cute...not one I normally choose in game...but she's cute in her own right...and that's a nice avatar for something other than our 60 width restrictions.
