Back in the days I hacked, it took weeks for me to finish a level. I was such a perfectionist.

Heh, I spent months on the first level. And I did the mistake of cramming up things...

If I'm getting quotes like that, I can assume I progress through making SMW hacks more quickly than most other hackers. It's not that I go fast or anything....but I should have at least 2 1/2 worlds finished by the end of the month....

I hate demos. I might release a few for feedback and to have online backups, but otherwise, I just can't stand the idea of playing half a game only to find you have to wait for the rest.

3 Worlds. 1 World demos, IMO, are just a waste of time (REP-ET-I-TIVE)

Most hacks usually release it after one world.

And maybe it's a good idea releasing it early, getting advice on what is needed to be fixed early can make a hack much better.

Well, I'm working on this new hack but am not sure on when to release a demo. Most demos have worlds 1, 2, or 3 complete, so you can vote for those. The one that gets the highest votes in a week is what I will do. So, poll away!

(And if you're wondering where I was this past week, I was on vacation).
