Er, what? How does that relate to loading the OW? For that matter, what the hex are you even looking for? |

Well, this might help, but...
I tried looking up the values for the credits (Trying to change Bowser's name to George), but the only things I found were Valley of Bowser levels. It changed the name to George... There was some extra data in between the offsets. I think that they may be the levels values, but I am not sure... Try looking up the HEX of a level name, such as if a level is called ABC, look up 00 01 02 and maybe you should see if the data in between is the level data.

I'm wondering if anyone has any info related to the ASM for loading levels and the overworld. At some point I'm going to need to know how to load a level at will and where the game goes to load the OW, but I can do some tracing if you don't have the exact spots. It'd also help to have locations of code related to anything that involves ending a level (death, goal points, etc). BMF, Kenny, I know you're out there. |
