Im not one of those people who are picky with movies. So I pretty much like anything...add Samurais and I love it.
I thought the last battle was bitter sweet, and the Ninjas were totally awesome! |

This movie was pretty good. It is very sad, but had quite a bit of action to draw in the more shallow viewers. And BTW, the ninja fight scene was fucking awesome. |

I was joking when I said that.
But anyways, I watched it again a couple of days ago with some friends. And by the time it was over, they were all: "THAT MOVIE HAD NINJAS KILLING LOLOLOLOLOL".
It's sad that so many people around here just see the "killing" part of the movie, instead of the actual "greatness" of movies nowadays.

Haven't watched it yet. I should have told my mom to rent this movie but she rented Matchstick Men. She liked that one but I want to rent this one next. Maybe this weekend  . I heard it was pretty good from people at school when it was out in theaters. |

I thought this was a pretty good movie. The battle scenes were great, especially the final one.

i agree with you there, but said in proper english, what you said should be:
The film had some corny parts in it, and the best parts were the battle scenes.
When i saw this movie, i thought it was boring, and turned the dvd off, when you see it in theaters, its so much better, cause you have surround sound there.
he should jsut stick to making movies with stephen speilberg(remeber minority report?)

I like alot of tom cruises movies but the last samurai was terrible, it was just so "plain" and so much corny. The only thing i liked were the battle sences. |

I watched half of it so far, and it was pretty good.
Cruise's character annoyed me for a little bit, but where I'm at in the movie, he's alright. |

I bought the DVD a few days ago and I was pleasently suprised. I only bought the movie cause it had Samurais in it and Tom Cruises armor reminded me of Samanosuke's armor in Onimusha. But the movie was actually very very good. I recommend for any Samurai/History/War/Drama fan watch it. |
