Callean burst through the wall in anabashed fury, but as he looked upon the scene on the previously obscured side of the barrier, he saw no opponent in sight. The heat behind him subsided, and he spun to witness the flames retreating into nothingness.
Struck with a feeling that this was no trick but a grace was the heavens, Callean kissed his holy symbol and dropped to his knees in prayer. |

Callean's defensive preparation was fortunate, for his opponent struck viciously. With some trouble (but sufficient success), the knight parried or blocked Hiei's rapid swordplay.
It was a shame that a quick sword and sturdy shield could not stave off the heat and flame of the Firaga spell. As the battlefield ignited, Callean had nowhere to run for safety. He writhed, trapped in the midst of the wicked flames. When the fire subsided, the paladin staggered and fell to the ground in pain.
He reached for the pouch on his belt and retrieved a thin vial. Callean brought it near his lips and uncapped it. The fluid within spilt into his mouth, and he lay still as the glass tube fell to the ground.
Singed black, Callean struggled to sit up, and then to a knee. He stood and tested his balance. Aching and angry, the paladin looked up at his opponent and let forth a primitive scream. He charged. |

*Hiei starts to feel like he has enough power so he decides to begin his attack*
Hiei: Now I shall try my new attack. First I shall do Fira and equip it to my blade. Now I shall do Firaga. Now go my ultimate spell and sword combo.
*A while after saying those words the spells activate. First comes the Fira blade and with this he goes down to the level of his opponent and starts slashing like crazy. Now with his other attack complete he flies thirty feet up and uses his second spell*

Breathing heavily, Callean sputtered, "Thou art odd to speak of thine doubt." Unsure of whether his opponent's comment was some sort of lure, the paladin decided against attacking and instead set himself to defend. |

*While swinging his blade in a circle fire starts to appear on the blade*

Hiei: This is an attack that I have never done before so I don't no if it will work, but I am going to try on m next turn anyway. |

Callean was blasted by the loosed magic, and he fell backwards and to the ground. The paladin stood slowly but deliberately; he was mostly unharmed, but sported numerous superficial scratches and singes. |

*Hiei begins to turn to reenter the battle but before he turns all the way he brings out his blade again*
*Hiei stars spinning in a circle while chanting theese three words over and over again until he has enough power, Azrath Metreon Synthos*
*While he is doing this an orb of fire appears, and with every chant it gets bigger and bigger and bigger until he has enough power*
Hiei: Finally I have enough power. I shall start my attack with the aid of the ring.
Haa Firaga.
*With the words of the demon, the orb of fire he was charging is unleashed affecting what seems to be only those without flame element* |

The entire battlefield halted with the arrival of the universally respected overseer, and even the clash between the basest of good and evil paused to heed Kirbynite's words.
"'Tis imperative, O captain," declared Callean as the Dreamlander completed his proclamation. With the warning heard and the referee departed, the paladin rejoined the battle.
"Be grateful to the Pink One, vile filth," Callean advised the demon. "He hath provided extra minutes for thine life." |

A loud rumble can be heard, and the earth suddenly splits as a large, Melvin-shaped robot rises out of the ground. It's mouth opens up, and a labcoat-clad man with black pants and shining circular glasses steps out onto the hand, which lowers to the ground. He immediately walks over to Demonspitfir, and smacks him in the back of the head.
Melvin: WHAT DID HE JUST TELL YOU
He immediately turns, gets back into his giant robot, and flies away. |

A flash blinds everyone in the area. A starshaped vessel hovers above the fighters, with an angry creature poking its head off the side of the star. The creature is donned in a traditional referee striped shirt.
Kirbynite: .... Alright, you guys see how Mr. Silvershield is fighting.. And yet no one seems to follow him? What a sad shame.... Demonspitfir, the only problem I've got with you is just the fact that you're capitalizing every word. The fight has an interesting thing going on with the D&D-styled stuff, but I'm not sure if having every word capitalized.
The pink creature floats over to Hiei.
Kirbynite: Kurama, you need to add some more content to your actions. More descriptive stuff... Don't just go and say that anything's that's not a fire type is targeted by big flames. Do something like this.
Kirbynite draws his mighty Star Rod. He waves the glowing weapon around, and performs several motions. As he yelled out "Firaga Blade!", the rod began to emmit a firery aura. Flames erupted everyone, while seemingly avoiding anything that didn't have a firery attribute.
Kirbynite: See? That looks a bit more professional. *nod nod* Please, for the sake of the Sim-Battle Forum, try to pump more descriptions into your posts! And guys.. try to refrain from the OoC-only messages... That's what PMs are for 
And with that, the Dreamlander took off. He had some hope that his warnings would be heeded.. |

Callean dodged Hiei's attack and darted to the fringe of the battle, safe for the moment. He targeted the now-unshielded demon; the paladin took the dagger from his belt and whipped it at the beast. |
