I've been posting some screens here http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=2390 but no one has replies lol The hack won't be out for a couple of months because I'm going on a month long vacation... but yeah I'm hoping to get it done soon enough I guess

Actually threre is a program out there than can delete it for you, I'm pretty sure it's actually called DeVimm

Well, he just does that at the end. All you need to do is crack open a hex editor, find where the ROM's too long, and inform his claim that it has been DELTEATED.

It's cool, I still found it. It's a relief that I don't have a Vimmed version of the ROM though lol I'm working on finding out the timer for the blinking now so there isn't the slight pause when you press start on the title screen.

D'oh...forgot to add the !@#$% iNES header. That should read:

PRG0: $1CD6A
PRG1: $1CDB9

So, yeah, you've got PRG1 then. Sorry about that...

The text is at a different location depending on which version you're hacking:

PRG0: $1CD5A
PRG1: $1CDA9

The first two bytes are the VRAM address the tiles will be written to. Just change the first byte to #$24 to move the blinking text off-screen.

Does anyone know where the data for the text blinking on Castlevania's title screen is? I had to use the text tiles for some graphics, and now it looks all glitchy when you press start.
