What's the DD expansion kit? Also, is there any way I can access this song through an Emulator (rather than needing to use the DD expansion kit with the game on the actual consol)? |

hahaha...rainbow road. They remade that track in F-Zero X if you got the DD expansion kit, it even had the Music (remixed in f-zero x's rock style ) I have an mp3 of it somewhere...hehehe |

I sorta like them both. Although Mario Kart got repetitive after a while, I still enjoyed battling. Battling was the great point to this game.
But DKR also had all that other...stuff. All the things you had to unlock and a crappy story, while Mario Kart, did not. |

They both have their good points, and their bad points.
MK64 was just a bit too repetitive (Turn, gas, turn, shoot, turn, gas....)
DKR was a bit.... Dont know how to say it.... odd. But yeah, unlockable goodies is a plus, and adventure mode to boot.
Maybe.... If MK was more like DKR.... ya know, gameplay wise... then, I dunno. |

Diddy Kong Racing for sure. It has 3 types of vehicles, a story (but its not a great one), more enjoyable levels and fun characters... In Mario Kart 64 it's just race, then win, then race, then win. MK64 is fun but DKR is more fun...

the x in the title implied to me that F-Zero X mighthave shown up on that poll, too bad my favorite n64 racing game by far. Thing is, I havn't played either of these two in a good long while so I probably couldn't vote fairly as far as gameplay goes...oh well, I'll have to get back to this once I maybe got a chance to sit down and try em again |

DKR is far superior to MK64 in every way imaginable. I think I like DKR even more than Super Mario Kart.
I speak only truth. MK64 licks balls. |

Crap, I came here from online.php but accidentally clicked 'open in new tab' instead of 'copy link' which resulted in me voting for something, and I don't know which one. I choose DKR. Mario Kart seems too slow and repetitive, and the music's not all that great. DKR just seems more fun somehow. Better AI, even item distribution (as opposed to constant bananas and green shells) and nice track design. I think the biggest thing was that DKR's tracks are full of action, whereas Mario Kart's are mostly boring and straight with a few curves. (That 'tap the gas to accellerate' bit helps too, even though it's a glitch. More action since you actually tap the button a lot instead of just holding...) |

I picked DKR because of the racing and adventure together.
I never had DKR (Except on Emulator) but I have MK64. I used to get a lend of DKR from my best friend (Now mortal enemy) but I never owned it |

Your post title needs some serious.... help. I pick MK64, because it... I dunno, it was far more enjoyable. But... seriously... when you make a thread title in the future... make it... coherent... please. |

I found Mario Kart 64 so much more fun to play. Diddy Kong Racing didn't have a very 'fluid' feel, rather similar to Rare's adventure games when compared with Super Mario 64. You feel restricted. I don't know how they managed to make an airplane feel restrictive, but they did...
The music, other than the Wizpig race, bugged me, and it just didn't feel fun, I felt like I was working instead of playing.
Plus the weapons in MK64 were better thought out.
There were only a few characters in DKR that I would like to play as, too. |

Belive it or not, but I played Diddy kong racing first. Then Mario kart.
I found Mario kart more fun, but there were things in Diddy kong racing that was intresting. Like there was more than one type of vehicle. |

I don't like the feel to the driving in DK Racing, so I go with Mario Kart. |

Diddy Kong Racing. Even though, as mentioned before, Diddy is the only one that fits in the whole game. But it still offered more game than MK64, IMHO. |

I hate the characters on Diddy Kong Racing, the only one that even fits is Diddy (only because it's called Diddy Kong Racing). All the rest of them were made up when DKR was made (and if they are from other games as well, they weren't from very well known games). They should have had some of the other characters from DKC 1, 2 or 3, such as the Kongs and Kremlins.
I personaly prefer MK64 for obvious reasons (it's more Mario-like, and it uses Characters and types of Levels from other Mario-games). |

DK Racing, I actually liked it more than MK64.
The three vehicle types, the characters...the music. It was awesome! |
