I guess it's doing that for you because you're somehow "forcing" a color 256 color palette into the file... Or just save it and let the program do that for you.
What I did is just reduce the number of colors (under PSP), and set the options to make it so it doesn't make it fizzy but keep things the way they are. So it keeps the right colors and look... |

Eww, Tripod. Ow, banners. Eek, broken images. I prescribe a new less crappy host. It still does that crap with images but at least it's easy to bypass (rename them to .txt files or add a question mark to the end of the URL) and doesn't replace them with ads. |

Dude, to use tripod pics, just rename them to FILENAME.txt isn'tead of .gif or .jpg and link to it here (with the [ img] tag or whatever you use). And don't use GIF, use PNG instead. It doesn't screw up the images like GIFs does . |

The problem with the quality of the screenshots is well, Tripod only allows jpg and gif format pics to be uploaded onto the site, and saving a pic with one of those formats makes it look fuzzy. |

hehehe, doesn't work. Tripod doesn't like teh hotlinking... but assuming that's the title screen from your site, it could use some better contrast |
