I obviously haven't gotten as far as you, but if it's a bigass dungeon, perhaps there is a different way to go up 2 floors on the 3rd one down... like entrances somewhere else that go up a floor...  just thinking of things that RPG designers like to do... And then there's most likely some filthy trick they put after you get to those 2 floors up... in short, I dunno.

why don't you send a screenshot of what that guys says? because unless the game is translated badly (which it isn't), you aren't understanding that guy.
i'm not sure if i made it that part or not. its been a while since i last played DQ6.

Actually, I can't I checked there already, there are 2 FAQ's there, one that only about an 8th of the game, and the other one doesn't give specefic instructions on how to get the shield. |

Well, I'm in a bit of a pickle here, in the cave where you get the shield of sufida (the one with the endless staircase) I'm stuck. I know posiedon says go down 3 floors, and up 2 (or something of the like), and I've tried that, and everything else I can think of relating to that, but I still can't find the damn shield, how exactly do I get the shield  |
