Woops, I guess it might be in there after all, I haven't played Lunar 1 in a long time. I've also played the Sega CD version more times than the PSX version. Did you know that they also have Lunar 1 for GBA?
I haven't bothered to play very far in the GBA version because they altered the story again, and you also meet Nash in Burg in this one.

Fu: Do you know where I could get the Sega Saturn version of either Lunar 1 or Lunar 2 or both? If so, send me an e-mail with the link.

IIRC he mentioned this the last time it was brought up; in the debug version it shows pointers or something. (Given that it's in there, maybe it can be unlocked in the normal version? )

I can't tell you what the code is, but I know where "I am Naaall and I love fiiish" comes from. It's from the (RPG) game "Lunar 2 Eternal Blue" (for the Sega CD or Playstaion).

"I am Naaall and I love fiiish" isn't actually a part of the game's script, so don't go looking through the game for that exact line, but the game does make it very noticeable in several occations that he does likes fish, so there will be many areas throughout the game to look for clues. Also, the PSX version and the Sega CD version both have stuff in them that is not in the other, so you'd have to play both.

BTW: Has anyone even heard of this game!?!? ..... is it that unknown to everyone? If you haven't, then you should also play it just because it's a really good RPG.
If you don't know where to get it, send me an e-mail and I'll tell you. I WILL NOT POST the site's address on the Board (If you don't know why by now, well...then.... I'm not even going to say what you are).

Dates that change Mario's gfx on the Overworld:

Sometime in September. (It's the anniversary of Lunar Magic, or Fu's birthday, can't remember which)

Christmas: Mario on Red Yoshi

St. Patrick's day: Luigi

April fools day: Mario on Green Yoshi

Dates that don't work:
Easter, Thanksgiving, and other holliday's that don't have an exact date, but instead, have a certain day of the week.

Try changing your computer clock and set it's date to certain special days, like X-mas or halloween...

Can someone please give me the exact number dates to input, in order to have those 'Mario Changes'?

This poem can be found in Lunar Magic's help file. I'd say it #@$! belongs.

This is nothing. I'm not so sure, but i think LM writes that in all the roms hacked by it.

That's from the dating game. People have found the code but not how to activate it.

It's a secret! The text for it is floating around in the executable somewhere, at least it was in the past. I have no idea how you would unlock it, or even if you can. Just another quirk of Fu's, I guess.

What secret dating game?

Actually, I'm fairly certain that the Start Location change thingy is not referred to in the poem. The stanze about 4 dates is the secret dating game, if I remember correctly.

Ok, I guess that we have "decoded" the entire poem, exept for the F9 thing. Anybody who knows anything about it?

I believe Easter and April Fool's Day also changed it.

What the hell??? Give me an explanation, some pics, and the dates.

Let's see... I think that it was on St. Patric's day that Mario changes into Luigi... Hmm... On christmas, I think that he rides a red Yoshi... That's all I can remember for now...

The chocobo stuff thing
Open Regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Lunarian Concepts>Lunar Magic>Settings>Options and put the value 9effffef in it. The LM icon will change to a Chocobo and the title will change to "Wark! Wark! Wark!".

F9 was used by the programmer a lot,
to see what the pointers would do.

Uhm... A built in Lunar Address in Fu's own version?
Edit: Wait... It sounds a bit like the "Open Address" function...

F8 is a key everyone forgot,
to stop the hack of blue.

The button for saving/not saving some color stuff when saving level C7

Four were the choices in dates,
a fun little game for all.

Wait... The special dates when Mario looks different in the OV editor!!

Three keys there are that still wait,
to hold the sprites in thrall.

Yup... Sprite MAP16.

Two were the names of girls from beyond,
both pink haired and fair.

Chelsea and Chibi-moon. However, it should be three! (Amy Rose)

One was the title of a movie with Bond,
that made a star appear in the air.

The "The World Is Not Enough!" code that unlocked the SMAS+SMW support.

One Editor to rule them all,

one Editor to find them.
One Editor to bring them all,
and in 65816 bind them.

Uh? SMB3 discombulator?

In FuSoYa's Niche,
where the lost key lies.

This makes me remember the "Amy is cute" screenshot...Maybe there is a hidden page with SMA2 support unlocking instructions?

Yea, but it has to do with deciphering the codes in Lunar Magic, thus making it suitable for SMW hacking.
This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
