Sorry, but I was referring to this thread should be trashed before it gets out of hand. I mean, someone should work more on a hack like this and release when all the errors are gone and you're sure it's as good as you can do. Not slapping a whole lot of random graphics together and lousy sprites together and saying your done. That doesn't work.

Sorry if I am sounding like a mod.

Okay, well, I justtried the demo, and it wasn't very promising. You need to implant more gfx into this game, especially the bgs. they're all bare and blank. Okay, let's see, what else can I say:
Levels were almost exactly the same as the original ones, ie Yoshi's Island 1, 2, 3 and the yellow switch palace.
ReEEEEeEEly bad grammar.
And that's just about it. Overall, you're going in the right direction, but... get there faster.

Your hack is decent, but it's full of minor graphical issues that need to be resolved ASAP, including the two-coloured pipes (don't put pipes on screen boundaries) the net at the beginning of the super koopa level (needs to be fixed) a lot in Up in the sky, and a few in the SMB style level.

Also, if you were trying for the flagpost at the end of the SMB level, don't. I hate to be rude, but it doesn't look very good at all. If you don't want to use ExGFX, I suggest trying to make the flag look a bit better.

Your level design is alright though, just minor glitches

If you're not yet sure on how to edit the OW then don't edit it. You can still make a great hack without a custom OW. Check out the second reality project and you'll see what I mean.

What about the Title Screen

Use the other Letters where the BG Blue is then it is not Black

And Edit Nitendo to FDP like most of others Hack (if you want)

Edit the Demo too that it is more Interessting not that the most Places are Empty

Then for me it is a good Title Screen

You should first fix glitches and things and then send the Hack

1: Blackness behind each letter looks bad. Is that a hamster at the top?
2: No BG, bad palettes, spelling and grammar problems, and how the hex do you get out of there? Unless it's the new game intro, which is still bad, because in the few seconds before the text appears, you could run off the block.
3: Absolutely nothing exciting here. Not even a background.

Well...what can I say about these screens...they really aren't good. Plain BG's, lack of action, bad palettes around the cement blocks, and bad grammar definitely don't contribute to the quality of a hack. Just from looking at these screens it appears you need plenty of work and tune-up on your hack...try again.

Just played it. You have a LOT of glitches. Yellow outline around the cement blocks? And whats with the deal with the mushroom? I could make a huge list of mistakes but I'm sure you know of them. It's not a very good demo but don't give up. I'm sure the next version will be better.
