The hack seems to be comming along nicely. I do kinda agree with cds11309, however.

Ok ok, fine, MORE than a tad bit difficult. I didn't mean I could beat it with my eyes closed, but I've seen harder. BTW, what's up with all the fire bars anyway - I never really got an answer. Unless your hack is titled SMB: Legend of the OMG Fire bars or something of the sort, it shouldn't be infested with them.

Looks pretty good, except for the fact that there are TOO MANY FIREBARS--especially the one in the middle of the air in 1-2. Also, perhaps you could not make every level a castle level. But it looks good, and definitely more than a "tad bit difficult."

Do you happen to be a pyromaniac in your everyday life?

"A tad bit difficult"? If I were to play this hack, I'd probably wear out my savestate keys. Too many goddamn fire bars!

New screenies The firebars suit the castle well, so I really like that level - but I still say you take them out of the cave levels, normal levels, etc. It's looking nice though, and even a tad bit difficult

It's a good hack and a very nice one. Not like Shane -26-'s hack which the GFX header tiles is most likely inproperly.

I want to try this one.

One more thing - in the last screen, how are you supposed to get by there if you're not big?
There's a little trick in SMB where if you place a hidden block near a solid object, Mario can run right through them both. I don't know if he utilized that, but such feat is definately possible.

I gotta go with V.J on this one. The Spinies get stuck there, and your obsession with spinning fire bars is insanity.

It's not bad, but it's not great either. Keep working on it, and fix it up a bit

Um. This hack is basically the original game, but pieces are thrown in different places. Take a REAL close look....

Anyway, also look at the underground level with the Lakitu! Oh! He's throwing Spineys, only to get STUCK IN THE WALL.

Not bad for a first hack, but you should try to fix it up a bit. Ask around, get some help, and work REALLY hard.

Looks nice. Long time a go that I saw a new game that is all about Luigi. I also like it that it's the sprite from SMB2 I'm looking forward to try this hack. It looks challenging too

Which SMB editor are you using? If your using SMBUtility there's a text editor in there, that'll help ya's out. As for your levels, they remind me of one of those japanese hacks. I remember one japanese hack that the whole hack was nuthin but fire bars.

It's not bad, but you should really change the "Mario" to "Luigi" in the top left hand corner.
