I just used the palette block from Blocktool... Mario only gets reddish, when he touches that block!!! I don't want to place that block everywhere in that level... Can anybody help me out?
EDIT: Uh... If it has to do with ASM, can please somebody tell me how? I'm totally new at it, but I read through the sticky "Learn ASM [ASM howto]", so I gained a little knowledge. |

Anyway. Is Mario's palette updated every frame? If not, a block could be placed at the beginning of the level which writes to Mario's palette. Otherwise, you'll need to use something like Level ASM (if it's executed between the palette update and the screen update). The last solution would be to modify the Mario palette loading code. |

Maybe a custom block would work. I jst don't know how you would do it. . Maybe, in about 5 years (When Lunar Magi 16.4 is released. ) LM wil be able to do it. HDMA might be able to work for you, though. |

Can I use some other colors for Mario in a certain level? For example, I'd like him to be a little bit reddish, because of a lava level. (I tried it... doesn't work with custom palette.) |
