I tried to install a couple of wireless ethernet cards recently, a linksys one (peice of shit, BTW), and a D-Link one, but when I tried to install the linksys caard (before I took it back), at some point Winsock was either corrupted or disabled or whatever. I say this because IPCONFIG says that "IP ConfigurationFailed to initialize Winsock" (just like that, missing space and all). Because of this, that computer cannot access my network nor the innternet. It was working before I tried to install the linksys card.

So, could anyone please help me out? Oh, and the moral of the story: Linksys is NOT good for win98SE systems.
