We're talking about the place that forced companies to release versions of PC games with locked-out violence. So yeah... nothing WOULD surprise me from them. :\

Maybe Wal-Mart really did import it early like Jen said.

Beheh...that would be funny.

Watch it come out next week and you only find a copy in January or something. :\

I don't quite think there's a lot of marketing muscle behind this.

IGN's now somewhat confirming the release. Now I've got a 'TBA' showing up.

Here's my major source...

Additionally, sounds like Disgaea 2 is coming out when I turn 22.

Gamefaqs have a long history of getting the release dates wrong too.

After playing the arcade version, I love this game. Althought I kind of wish I had someone to play against than the computer.

GameFAQs also tends to be slow as shit on things too, I notice.

They didn't get that La Pucelle re-release wasn't a La Pucelle II for the longest time. For instance...I guess that's one out of many things they dunno.

EGM, which is based off of 1UP, says that it's going to be up 11/15.

EDIT: Colin, releaser is SNK/Playmore USA.

Yeah, that was the first place I checked... they're usually good for release dates but not always 100%. (I've seen some bad dates on there before, including one or two for games that had ALREADY been released. :\)

Could be that the mystery publisher is gonna release it "sometime" in November/December but doesn't know when.

I'm guessing it's going to be:

1) A budget release (duh);
2) Released in small quantities (like Katamari);
3) Not really reviewed or mentioned by any major sites.

I didn't see any publisher info either... who the hell's releasing it? Atlus? Majesco?

I've got CD Universe saying 11/30. :\

I really dunno.

I found this stat funny...

#458 in Shooter
(of 458)

So yeah.

I'm guessing there's some truth to this but no sites are reporting on it. Amazon has it coming out on 11/17 for $19.99.

Okay, I was doing some Googling this morning. Out of boredom, I took a look at stuff for Twinkle Star Sprites and got a kick out of what I found. Apparently, there's a PS2 version of it that's in Japan right now that was released in late July that I didn't know about.

Also, it seem that there -MIGHT- be a release of it in the US by mid-November. It's looking like November 15, but not all sites confirm this, so I can't really be sure if it's right or wrong. I mean WAL-MART has it up for 20 bucks on a release date of 11/15.

I'd like to know if it's true or not, if this game is going to come out in Engrish or not. If you haven't played the game yet, I implore you to do so (MAME DAMN YOU MAME). The game's about a decade old and even a re-release of it would be enough to make me jump at it. Plus...20 bucks. That's reminding me sooo much of Katamari...

So anyways. TSS: PS2 US? Yes or no?

EDIT:

Just to add in. Here's what to expect if it does release in the US.
