only problem with alot of these games are that the palette info is screwey so it will take a long time to work with it. Like in Double Dragon you can make any tile any set of loaded colors, well to a degree that it fits in the Palette area of 32x32.

Yeah, BARF! really had great potential of being a great editor, too bad it was never finished.

I doubt that River City Ransom editor will be released now. It's been 2 years since anything was ever heard of it.

I herd there was a River City Ransom in development. As far as Zelda II we will see how the person working on it goes...otherwise...maybe...

Bionic Commando...possibly...

ArkEdit...thinking of something...

But the Disney games look like must have's!!!

Life Force is compressed...so it is a hold off...

Zelda 2, there is much potential in that game, but not with the current editor.

Yes, a new, better-working Zelda II editor would be excellent. God I love that game.

Also, level editing Chip and Dale 2... *Drools*

But still, *Points at Zelda II comment*

You usually need to supply some command-line arguments, for programs that do that.

I personally agree with that. .. Editors that run in DOS are hell for me. ...they'll never open most of the time.

I can't even get just about ANYTHING to stay open for more than 1 second specifically with any types of assembler/disassembler programs. ..like i'll go get a editor, or like some type of other program ...it'll open up a command prompt window ...then immediately close a split second later..really makes me mad sometimes.

I can think of a few games that already have editors but deserve better ones like Zelda II, and Bionic Commando. I could also go for one for Life Force.

I have a list of personal editors I want to see done. Oracle of Seasons, Metroid Zero Mission, Equinox, Aria of Sorrow, ect. For the first 3 I have lots of data on them.

I have always wanted to have an editor for Donkey Kong for the Gameboy. But if you don't have data for it, or don't feel like finding data, I can do without, because Lunar Magic and SMW are good enough for me in that case.

Darkwing Duck was a godsend IMO and I would LOVE if you get one for that.

I have another idea, but it's not exactly a level/map related. But the data's been found none the less.

Well there's an idea, do some ports to windows for all those DOS editors. Of course Zelda 1 and FF! arn't needed, but we really need a better Goonies 2 editor.

As for personal idea, The Guardian Legend, although somebody was trying to make an editor at one point. What do you have in mind as to what games you want to create editors for?

BTW, I like this idea. Provided the editors have good compatiablity, it would certainly be great for the community to have more editors. More editors act as a lure for more people to come and hack, and some of them may just in fact be the next DahrkDaiz, or the next Jathys, or even the next Jigglysaint!

Hey mega-dog. Remember me? heh.. anyways, a double dragon editor would be nice, and ArkEdit would definately be awesome if it was ported to windows. I've always thought that would've been nicer. I just don't like DOS editors.

Well if you may of not known I have editors comming out again, I told you about FatCamp, now I tell you about BatDance a Batman editor (pics soon)...

If you did not hear I have been telling people my goal by the end of 2005 is to have aproxamently 5 new NES Editors on my belt. So far anounced is:

FatCamp - Karnov Editor
BatDance - Batman Editor

I am mostly posting this to see if anyone wants me to a certain game possibly. Right now I have some thought lists of games and want to take some input. My games I am thinking of are:

Double Dragon - (Found All Data)
Bad Dudes - (Found All Data)
Guantlet - (Have Data Found, but would be a tough editor)
All Disney Game Editor (Would edit all games like Chip & Dale 1/2, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck...ect)
ArkEdit (ported to Windows) - ?
Snow Brothers - (Found All Data)

Let me know if you have any ideas...

Right now most games will only have Map/Room Editors and such since some are not popular, but with Batman right now I see potential so I am going to put alot of work into this one...all I need to say is Sunsoft put alot of messy coding in it, but it works.

So let me know what all of you think.
