At least bobob doesn't sound like a n00b... :\
And being nice to newbies is probably the one thing that makes them stay... I know I'd have left long ago if I weren't treated too well...

Okay. The DS has two processors. Any DS rom you find will therefore contain two programs. Both can be extracted by NDSTool.
You can't reassemble the rom without all parts: Arm7 binary, Arm9 binary, header, logo and if it's used a file system.
In other words,
Twice even. |

got that sorted but now when I try to re-make the file it says it requires ARM9 binary file.
Any ideas?
Doesn't mater, I have figured it out. |

The damn thing shows all commands you can use if you don't specify any at all, y'know. |

What would be the command to extract the whole thing? |

You should also tell it WHAT to extract! |

I have been having trouble extracting anything with ndstool.
I use the syntax as the tool specifies and nothing happens.
eg, ndstool -x file.nds
nothing then happens when I hit return.
Can anyone help me? |
