Very nice screenshots, but I believe there is a Pirated version of Super Mario World ROM for the NES I had. The only emulators I had currently working is Nesticle so I get a clean snapshot and since I cannot give the Pirated Snapshots since It does not support Nesticle. NESten does work but do not have a Snap shot.

Don't even ask me for it.

Spoiler:
My mother is such a whore that she refuses to complete the damn doctor's application so I could get or find a damn job. It is obvious that my mother is trying to ruin my life.

You've just given me an idea, Glyph, thanks.

Shane, are you gonna use sprite GFX from SMB3, or are you just gonna de-colourise the SMW GFX?

I'm only going to take GFX from SMB3 if I really need to. For instance, the spiny is from SMB3. It was very difficult to decolorise so I just imported the GFX from SMB3

It IS Paper Mario for Nintendo 64.

The Koopa Bros. Are one of the bosses in the game you had to beat to get to a star spirit. I won't go into any details, but that's the basic concept.

Why do those koopas look like the Koopa Bros. from PM?

On-Topic: I thought they all looked nice...

That's THREE colors + transparency.

And yeah, those colored koopas aren't good. Either make the eyes transparent, cheat a little, or something.

I think this NES thing would make for an interesting single level gimmick, but not for an entire hack.

And you're not the first to go for a SMW-NES thing.

Hmmm.... interesting. I didn't know the koopas in SMB3 used 4 colors + transparency. I might change the koopa's eyes back then to white. Thanks for that info BMF98567.

Yes, they are, because they are comprised of multiple 8x16 sprites:

The shell uses a separate palette from the rest of the body.

Koopas + colored eyes = BLARGH NO. Just color them white. I wouldn't call it "cheating" if you just used 4 colors without actually layering the sprites (when did he say he was going for hardware-level accuracy, HH? ). As long as you only use a total of 12 sprite colors and 13 background colors, you're still within the NES's visual capabilities.

Well, I thought keeping the black would look nice... but it doesn't.
If you ask me: White eyes are the only way...

But... interfere, If I am saying something stupid...
aren't Koopas in SMB3 4-colored plus transparency?
I see green, brown, white and black...

More Screens!!!
Here ya go!

The key has a darker color and the koopa's eyes are colored.
I changed more but they would look glitchy on the screen so i'll put them in the next screen.

No, lose the black. I almost never see black in a sprite for an NES game.

Lose the white, brighten the orange, and make the eyes orange. Copy all of the palettes and GFX from SMB3 for NES.

That's 5 colors.

I knew that the koopas had an extra color before I posted the screens. I'm still trying to decide which color I'll take out of them.

That's cheating though. Unless you actually do use layered sprites.

Neat. Now all you have to do is implement the 8-sprite-per-scanline limit!

I think you should make it look more like SMB3 for NES, that would look great.
