Yeah, this whole "We don't know where atoms come from and thus it means they came from a magic man who lives in the sky" isn't going to fly here.

Look it up, man. There's plenty of conclusive evidence out there.

Yeah, and then you go into stuff about a piece of cloth and a carpenter who may or may have not lived a couple thousand years ago. Very nice.

Yes I do strongly believe in the existence of God, I am a catholic christan, now let me explain why.

1. First of all, atheism makes no sense, do you know how many books of the bible there are? People don't just sit down for half there lives, and write a big book of falsehoods.
They didn't have electricity, and had to do everything themselves, meaning less free time than we have now.

2.Continueing on atheism here, from what I know most of you beleive that by chance some atoms colided in mid-air, and poof! There was life! Sure I beleive in the possibility of the big bang, but where did the atoms come from?

4. Back to the bible, so assuming Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John wern't all just being stupid when they wrote the bible, (which they obviosly wern't) look at how many miricals Jesus (the son of God) performed, and if you are going to try and say he was a wiccan, then why would he denounce wizardry publicly and preach about the Lord?

5. The Shroud of Turin, you can try to scientifically explain that one to me, why is the image only on the far layers of the cloth, and not in between? it is also made of some cloth (I can't remeber the name) which is made from the fibers of mussles woven together, a cloth that CANNOT BE DYED OR COLORED.

I will post more later, I have to go now

Allow me to impart some wisdom upon you.

My mother brought something to my attention - I had told her that nobody had mentioned anything about my looking thinner despite losing almost a fourth of my body weight suddenly due to diabetes. So, she told me, I couldn't have possibly been as fat as I had thought to experience such a weight loss (50+ pounds) and have nobody notice.

And then I thought, how can the universe allow humanity to judge it's own affairs? Humans suck at judging themselves. We give ourselves too little credit where we should be more optimistic, and too much credit when we should be harder on ourselves. Is there not, therefore, the need for the existence of some unbiased, "third-party" higher power to fulfill this?

Liek, OMG! It's freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. Therefore, RELIGION should be forced on all of us because we can't be free FROM it. Christianity! Woo hoo! I and all other Christians should agree with this. Force those stupid Jews, Muslims, agnostics, etc. to get a REAL God... like the one I believe in.

I clicked yes cause I belive in Jehovah, that's God's name. For us humans to exist couldn't come by chance, the way our senses are, touch, feel, smell, taste and etc. hadda come by a higher being.

On this site go to Psalms chapter 83 verse 18.

Jesus was a jew, or did he get his facts from anglicized paintings of Jesus with that sharp pointy nose and long flowing hair . It's annoying how little people know of history.

Depends. If it's the Christian God, or the Muslim God... or any monotheistic God, for that matter, it's a no. I'm Wiccan, so I believe in the Lady and the Lord. So, yes. I guess.

good for you that you don't believe in them, but I would like to point out that the Christian and Muslime god are the same god. They only differ on the role of Jesus. Muslims acknolwedge Jesus as a prophet, and Christians say that Jesus was the son of god and was holy. Muslims think the son of god came years later.

I'm not really sure whether I believe in god or not.. I might believe in *a* god, but probably not the Christian god, and I certainly don't believe that Jesus was the son of god. In my opinion it's just absurd that one religion is correct over another.

Yes I believe in God. And by God, I mean one monotheistic God, the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

I believe in a higher power but not specifically any "god". I know the universe came from SOMETHING. It's just far too complicated for pewny little cockroaches like us humans to figure out.

Yes it does. Most holidays are related to the church.

Yeah, there's a reason for that. Didn't the word "holiday" come from "holy" and "day"*? Now, isn't holiness a religious concept? Yeah, I thought so. So, skipping Groundhog Day, Thanksgiving, and Independence Day, it makes sense that all the holidays in the US have religious roots.

And oh, about god... if you ask me I refuse to answer that. Since i'm not sure. Really. It's hard to prove his existance, but also hard to prove that god dosen't exist. :/

I don't believe in any god, unicorns, flying sphegetti monsters, IPUs, Jason Voorhees', or any other fictional nonsense. I fail to understand how anyone could really. Not so deep down, I feel kind of sorry for anyone who is religious and I silently chuckle to myself whenever someone tells me what their religion is.

I've always found it strange how millions upon millions of people could be so wrong. :/ Oh well, common sense and logic never really have been a dominant human trait. Just a rarity it would seem.

I do believe in some powerful being that created the universe but I find it hard to believe in heaven and hell and everlasting life after death. So overall my answer is yes.
