The song was originally made for an italian 1968 documentary about swedish pornography, then the Muppets producers picked it up in the 70s. |

I haven't seen the commercial before  but if it's from the muppets and on a commerical then it should be funny  not sure of the getting stuck in my head part |

Randy has the original Muppet Show clip somewhere. And for some reason it has to get repeatedly played when friends come over. I can understand that people would find it amusing (that infamous Weeeee! video from Threebrain falls into the "so bizarre and annoying that it's hilarious" category for me), but it just doesn't appeal to me at all, especially when I'm subjected to it more than, say, once a year. I ought to back up the movie file somewhere and replace it with a single-frame video showing this:

Ugh. It's "phenomenon". It was a song in the muppet show, you guys are right. I had a tape with that crap on it. And other such songs like "Charleston Pie". |

I haven't seen the commercial, but if it's the song I'm thinking of, it's from the Muppet Show. It's called "Mahna Mahna", or something like that. |

Now, go to Media Gallary and then the first TV Ad.
It is so stupid and annoying it is funny and I cant get it out of my head!!! I guarentee you will be saying Manamana for awhile.
Anyone know what that song is from by the way? Some people say Seasame Street or Muppets (The two old guys in the balcony) and some say some old show...
Anywho, I got my whole family saying Manamana now, so watch it it's great! |
