It should have ended with the '90s. If they were to do a movie, I would hope it would be in theatres and really freakin' awsome. |

I heard of it a couple of years ago. Thank god its ending, that show got really old and boring. And I will see the movie and see how funny it is. |

I'm kinda glad they're ending it there.
You know, before it loses EVERYTHING that's had going for it, say around season 30. And so it's not "one of those shows", that keep getting too much time (like 3 time slots a day on one channel, excluding marathons), or last WAY too long. |

 19 seasons? I heard a few years ago they'd only do about 2 more seasons  . I wonder how long it could last  . I haven't heard about any movie to end it. I'm surpised the voice actors stayed with the show that long. |

Well..I looked around, and there is a confirmed movie in the works according to most places, but there is no mention that it will end the series.
although a site did say that the voice actors only have a contract up to the 19th season, so it remains to be seen if it will continue, or stop then... |

I heard there is a simpsons movie coming out in summer 06' (maybe 07'). And the movie is going to end the series. Does anybody know anything about this? |
