I remember making one like it, but I don't think it came out too well. If I did make one like it, it was years ago before I even knew what a .PNG was  [or transparancy for that matter. |

Good, good... Didn't you have a layout based on that border back in the day? Or was that someone else...? Eitherway, good stuff... Though, as has been said, could use more darkening behind the text. |

Seems totally readable to me, and I'm using Opera. I think it looks good. Kickass Megaman layout to go with the Megaman theme I'm using.

Simply awesome Megaman layout Setzer. 
What that trans image looks like is just a 2x2 image with the top row being 100% trans, and the bottom row being 100% opaque black..  Maybe it's just me though.
Maybe a .gif would help if the .gif was of a larger scale.. maybe tiled at 100x100 or 150x150.
I used to have an Invision Board skin that used the same effect and it slowed down big time in FireFox until I changed the size of the image.  Go Figure.
Anywho.. Enough of the comments.. If I was to rate this outta ten, I'd give ya a nine because the text sometime is hard to read. |

The font is on the small side but it isn't very hard to read for me. Just a little bit most likely because of the pattern of the boxes as was already mentioned but I could read it just fine. I think it's good . |

Looks pretty darn good, but the text is a bit hard to read. Perhaps it is a bit too small.

Very nice layout you've got here. It's a bit small... but not completely unreadable.

Nice MM5GB SGB rip.
I would PROBABLY like it without the transparency just for the sheer fact that the layout text is kinda hard to read even on white. Even if the backg was darkened a bit more I would go for it, but it just seems a bit bright there. Otherwise, I definitely dig.
EDIT: Okay, doesn't really add up to be a transparency, but still, I think it could be darker.  |

I dunno, maybe it's the light/dark blue pattern? It's not the size, and the white is your best choice.. but the light blue under it is sort of difficult to see. Maybe it's my res? |

Eh, it looks like latin to me, but I haven't seen latin in awhile =\. Apart from bit-blade ramblings. The graphics were taken directly from the SGB border of MMV. Infact the only real changes I made was making certain parts transparant and modifying a few tiles. such as SETZER instead of CAPCOM. |

Very clean, well-balanced, and has a strong megaman theme to it without the ultra flashy extras. It's pleasing to the eyes, just to say the least. I'll give you 4.5 out of 5 stars. |

I have tested it to the point of no return on IE and FF, winXP, I could care less to test it on any others.
YD: I Have the background transparant so that it would give me the effect I wanted, stretchyness without things looking weird, try resizing the window and you'll see what I mean. |

Why do you even need the transparent background? The green border is thick enough so that you can just use a different background image entirely and it won't look awkward.
Right now the text is annoying to read too. 
Otherwise, it's a good layout.
Edit: Actually, it could look sort of odd with a different background. Blah. |

Ah, fixed. That's due to the "every enter key is equal to a <br>" "feature" of the acmlm boards. and its the transparant background that slows down the window, I'm well aware of it, doesn't seem to be as big of an effect in FF as it is in IE [infact, it doesn't make a difference at all in FF] Hell, you should've seen what it looked like before I made it IE friendly. </IE bashing>
