Hehe, yeah, "only" your opinion seems about right.
Shouldn't always rely on what others say. Play it yourself sometime and decide.
Personally, I think Mega Collection's better, but Gems Collection is still a good one to grab, even if only for Sonic CD (though I like Sonic R more...)
And who the hell said StF was slow? I mean, damn, the default match timer is what? 15 seconds? How slow can you be in fifteen seconds? |

I heard this game wasn't great at all. People sayin the sonic fighters is slow and tedious and sonic R is not very enjoyable at all. |

I'm still wanting to pick up the Japanese version, to get the original soundtrack, and the SoR Trilogy. But, it's $50 ... as compared to $30 for the version here in the US, and I'd also have to buy one of those things for my memory cards to play Japanese games. I just don't know if it's worth all the money right now. |

I thought the PAL version had the original sountrack? Maybe it only applies to the GCN version. |

In one word : Pants
Ok so it has Sonic CD on it. but it's got the US soundtrack, it's also choppy, and the loading times are rubbish (Worse than the Mega CD one!)
Sonic Fighters is alright.
Sonic R has lengthy loading times, that said I'm glad the soundtrack is intact (I managed to thrash my sis by singing "Can you feel the sunshine" word perfect. )
As for the unlockables... no Streets of Rage! It's a travesty! |
