That wasn't so difficult...
The solution... (Don't read if you want to get it yourself, obviously.)
Spoiler:
First the warden takes the prisoner across and returns alone. Have the warden take one boy (or girl, but I'll say using a boy for now) across, return with the prisoner. Then, have the teenage boy take the other boy across and return alone. Then send both teenagers across, with the girl returning alone. At this point, you can send the warden with the prisoner across. The teenage boy returns alone, send him back with the girl, have the girl return alone. After this, have the teenage girl ferry one small girl across. The warden returns with the convict, dropping it off on the first bank, then takes the other girl across, finally returning and taking the convict to the other side.
EDIT: No, that's not right... Okay, fixed the solution. |
