Tell me about it. I hate how some of the graphics files are horribly organized. It makes it a real pain when you're trying to edit the crap out of everything.

The shadow tiles of the border are tiles 54, 55, and 56 in GFX29. As Bio said, make sure you didn't replace them with blank tiles by mistake.

I think they saved in the title screen GFX in GB format you must have changed them to blank by error
