THIS IS A GERMAN PAGE WHERE YOU CAN GET MUTATORS AND MAPS AND SO ON. ITS EASY TO NAVIGATE SO I DONT THINK THE GERMAN SHOULD BE A PROBLEM...

NOT TO FORGET:

Hey, where are you getting those? I've been looking for some but I thought everyone was still busy porting them from 2k3 and whatnot.

I'M USING SOME COOL MUTATORS LIKE UT2004RPG IN THE NETWORK. THERE ARE SOME COOL MAPS FOR ONS, WHICH YOU CAN DOWNLOAD. THE COOLEST ONE I THINK IS ICARUS.

ASKING WHY I'M WRITING EVERYTHING IN CAPS LOCK? TODAY IS CAPSLOCK DAY

Awesome game multiplayerwise, but... wow. Just.. wow.

I cannot get over how much the single player game on this sucks. I really don't want to play two or three deathmatches on my own then get stuck with a team that combined has the sentience of a cinder block, and no matter what commands I yell at them they always sit down in the wrong place... how do I get worked on Novice when I could easily hold my own at Adept/Masterful on Classic?

On another note, Onslaught is still heavenly as ever.

I'm not worried about the connection cause i'm getting t3 at college in six months, I was able to play UT2k3 with my connection pretty well. I was just wondering if the new version is worth the purchase once i get an updated computer and internet. I don't want to buy a game that's just a graphics upgrade of my current game.

Dude. If you have 56k, don't bother thinking of getting an online game.. you'll get assraped by lag =/

I loved UT2k3 so i was just wondering if it was worth it to get 2k4 or is it not that much different from 2k3. Don't tell me to get the demo cause it's not worth the year it would take to download on my pos 56k connection.

Me and my mate James got it, and I have to say it rocks. Shame about some loading problems, but they can be fixed. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 for the online mode alone!

My brother already got it. I was watching him in a match, and it looks like a lot of fun. The mantas look particularly impressive, and I hope to have a go when I get back home.

Even though he's into realistic FPSs for his clan stuff, he enjoys the fast pace of UT2K4 for a quick game away from the serious stuff

Oh and I was just playing the Stunt-HQ Server, and found a nice entry hole in RedPlanet that allows you to go under the map. It's kickass.

where is this entry?(only played the map for about 5 minutes, because i mainly played assault yet)

I saw the NFO file for it (probably not going to buy/download it, at least not at the moment), but... um...

...enough CD's, no? I think it's something like 6 CD's... the original UT was 2 CD's but only one of them was the game. I don't want to know how big those maps are.

Apologies for the bump, but I got the game today, and played a few onslaught and deathmatch solo maps. I must say, the price i got the game for is good for it's playability.

Dria
Didn't get to play this much, I only just arrived for around 10 minutes of node fragging, but there are a lot of selection of vehicles at the base, which dwarfs ONS-Torlan by a lot. It's an EPIC of a map (pun intended)

ArcticStronghold
One of my favourite maps. Has one really good background music, matches the C&C Series. This map has a lot of cliffs and deep slopes, so Goliaths and Hellbenders will have trouble traversing across the snowy plains.

Severance
Another godlike one. Took around an hour to complete a single round, due to the Leviathan vs Goliaths battles. Lots of medievil towers are near the nodes in this map, allows for plenty sniping opportunity. There also are around 2 or 4 craters of light which drain your health of you go across them so be aware.

Red Planet
Only tested this map once I first got the game so I could have a go at the Leviathan. Seems pretty small, but not bad.

There you have it, once you played these, you will never view torlan the same again
