The tutorial talks about starting SDMC with windows compatibility (apparently it has problems running on XP), so I think its a full program.

Found it at http://www.crackmanworld.com/web/utilidades/categoria_dcast.htm
The site seems less than reputable, so I would be careful of what I do there. And it is not even close to being work-safe.
It looks like this is an official SEGA product, which would be my guess as to why it cannot be found anywhere.

hmmm....by the looks of those screenshots, it looks like a Virtual Dub plugin, or maybe they just used it to export the video.....ill look again in a little bit, to see if I can find anything. |

Unfortunately, this seems to be a boot image creator, and does not seem to have anything to do with SFD creation.
I found a tutorial on that same site before I asked here. It has a screenshot of the program: http://www.metagames-fr.com/Article3_Lire-une-video-sfd-sur-sa-dreamcast.php.

I am trying to edit a Playstation 2 game. It seems a lot of the Dreamcast formats are used on that system also.

I am trying to modify some SFD format movie files. I understand there is a convertor out there called Sega Dreamcast Movie Creator that will shift mpeg movies to SFD. Unfortunately, the first couple hundred hits on google mostly turn up search engine traps. Can anyone point me to a site where I can obtain this program?
