It's always worked for me. You have to copy from a level that uses the same graphics though.

I think Lunar Magic changes the map16 pages for you. Also, the "Copy Background Image" option doesn’t always seem to work right… before it would bring up the wrong image, and I would be able to type in pretty much whatever I wanted, and it’d still work.

Ah, that helped. Thanks. I always see so many useful functions but when I really need them they seem to be... gone O.o

I hope I did not misunderstand you...
Go to "Level" and then the "Copy Background Image" option.
Then Lunar Magic asks you which level to copy the BG from.

If your talking about 'garbage' blocks in the BG, then change the BG starting position for the level(using the door thet says '1' on it)

If that doesn't help... please tell us more using the magical pixelated photo we like to call a 'screenshot'

When I change the FG/BG GFX in my level the whole background is messed up (probably because it takes over the "main structure" of the background and fills it with new tiles). Is ther any way I can change the background? I don't want new ones, just take an existing one. I don't think it's that comlicated that I have to use ASM... Please tell me it's that easy T.T
