Just one thing though... could somebody make some ov gfx for me so I have more time to learn asm. If so, more overworld gfx, more asm learning, and more time to create venus fire trap!

I voted other. I think you could at least wait until you finish the overworld, as it doesn't require ASM like the Venus Fire Trap. |

True, but these adjustments aren't minor. The venus fire trap has never been in any hack I've ever seen, and the overworld is very w00t looking to the normal overworld.
This is why I put up a poll though so I'll need more convincing.

As fun as it sounds maybe you should put more time in it before you release it that way no one will say "Yeah it was cool, but now he comes out with the update, so a few minor changes have been made, big deal!" But if you wait till it is totally finished it'll grasp them altogether! So maybe patience is a better path. |

I think you should release it with no beta overworld and venus fire trap first. Then you can work on the beta overworld and venus fire trap after, and release an update with the overworld and venus fire trap. |
