The game supports up to 120 events, but the title screen is only set to display up to 96, and will remain at 96 if you exceed it. It can be changed, but HH is right, if you want more than 2 digits you have some recoding to do.

Can't you just cram two digits into the right place, as it does already with 96? 00 on the right, then a thin 1 and a star if you want (a smaller star that can fit next to the 1) on the left. |

I agree. I'm planning for over 100 exits in my hack, and I need help quick before I finish the hack!
FuSoYa can certainly help. Please notice this topic, Fu! |

There are a simple way to "bypass" the star, unless you use the european version. (By the way, DW:TLC had a 120 star.) Simply open the 4bpp part of the graphics and copy a 9 onto the star and a 6 onto the 96. Simple. However, in order to change the "star appear number"... Well... Ask Fu or a skilled ASM hacker. |

Actually, the star only appears in the American Version. Nothing changes when you get 96 goals in the Japanese version, and on the PAL version, the number turns blue. |

Yep, all it takes is using every event number.... 0-77 I think.
Thats 120 in hex... I think, but that is the highest you can go, before you run out of event room |

Extra level!
Not all levels are able to do that. Only those within levels 0-24 (in hex) and then 101-13B. Those are the only levels that can be on the overworld.
Yes, that bothered me for a while, why can't you use the other levels? I mean, it's just a pointer? Isn't it? |

Yeah, I know how to edit extra levels. What I'm trying to ask is if you can get the number of exits in the game over 96. |

There's probably some location in the ROM that determines what number to display the star on, but I don't know where it is. |
