I like the FF2(US) font used in the SMB-style game more than the thin one used in the shops, but then again I've never used the PocketNES. Making use of the full 7 letters is nice. |

This may be a different one. In this one the Mario characters are in place of both "younger" and "older". (I believe the "older" are actually what the screen shot is taken from) |

I have played the Super mario fantasy. One thing the guy mest up with is when you grow up they don't grow up they turn into the original FF1 characters. Thats what I hate about it. The rest of the hack is pretty good. |

http://198.64.150.251/jlb/Final_Fantasy_One.ips This turns Final Fantasy (U).nes into Final Fantasy One.nes This hack makes several subtle changes. It is a combination of other hacks (special thanks Disch) and a little of my own: 1)Restores the Japanese version graphics and dialogue differences 2)Updates the hero graphics to FF3 (J) versions, both big and little (big shown) 3)Has moving water on overworld 4)Item shops let you buy in bulk 5)Font has been changed to work well on PocketNES
Just makes the game seem a little fancier.
http://198.64.150.251/jlb/SuperMarioFantasy.ips I have also made some of the same tweaks to Super Mario Fantasy - Continued. Moving Water and buying in bulk have been applied.
