I used the fast solution. Delete and create my session again. I couldn't figure out what was causing that, but with my new session there's no problem |

I don't think the LED will actually turn on or off unless the OS tells it to. Does it lag when you type?
As for lag when it's loading, that's normal. It's busy. |

it isnt' against the rules, it just that we'd think you are yelling in your posts, which is bad ettiquite (sp?)
as for your keyboard problem, does the caps lock LED turn off when you press caps lock? but the computer still lags at switching the mode? I'd try another keyboard to see if it is the software at fault or the hardware. If another PS/2 keyboard still does that, try using a USB keyboard. If that too shows the same problem, then it would be the OS,
so yeah, I'm inclined to say the keyboard or the PS/2 port is faulty |

When using my XP session, it takes too long to disable uppercase (enabling also). Sometimes it just gets stuck and does not respond when pressing caps lock. Now i'm currently in my nephew's session, and it has a similar problem, but only when loading, as it gets a little slow to react from events. Then it just works well. My current HW/SW specifications is as follows:
HW: CPU:Athlon XP 2000+ MotherBoard: MSI KT3 (not the ultra one, it's the one with only USB 1.1 ports) HDD: Maxtor 60GB, 5600rpm i think Video card: Nvidia, 32 mb, don't remember the model Keyboard: Genius model K627, ps/2
SW: Windows XP Pro, no SP F-secure antivirus 5.40 Zonealarm 4.5.594.000
PS: It would be against the rules to make posts with a keyboard like that, with CAPS LOCK always on |
