That isn't Megaman, don't be fooled... That's Bonk disguised as Megaman.

It'd be great if they had some kind of protocol for downloading other people's level edits and playing them off a memory stick.

Then again, I'm sure us folks in emulation will figure that out anyway.

I like most of the graphics save for Megaman... I don't quite think they needed to give him the SD look with his head being about as tall as the rest of his body.

You know that the Japanese are going to come up with some evil Edit levels. :\

Capcom are releasing a PSP version of the original MMX as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they continue porting more classic MM games following these two. And even less surprised if they all become Japan only.

This. Is. The. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

Nothing has brought me more joy than Rockman\'s oversized head in a long, long time. I guess I\'d better get a PSP now.

you still fail for feeling the need that you have to defend yourself so vigorously.

So I have to analyze the art in order for you to be satisfied enough to not ridicule me for my opinion? They appear to me to be incredibly simple and disgustingly cartoony in a way that original never looked. Furthermore, Mega Man looks incredibly ugly now with his gigantic head (what the hell is up with that?). Overall, I just find them unappealing.

Also, you need to learn how to better interpret what people are saying. I never made comments of that sort; I happen to like retro games, but even then, I don't like old games just because someone told me they're cool, nor do I tell people to 'know their roots' (which doesn't even really have much to do with this, since I was just discussing which version I thought was, simply put, better). I stated that I liked one set of graphics over another and then reasoned as to why I would choose the original over this remake. Even now, I've gone further into explaining my reasoning that I had originally cared to because you seemed to require it. Still not satisfied? Tough shit.

Yes, but I've no complaints that they're not here anymore; those graphics are extremely ugly. I'll be sticking with the original, for sure. Why they couldn't just make the new graphics look like the old ones is beyond me.

And before people yell at me for being a grahics whore, I must say that I'm usually not, but in this case, where the game they're making is a remake of another game, the new graphics are worse than the original 18-year-old graphics, in my honest opinion. What the hell is up with that? They're rather terrible. That gives me no reason to play the game beside the level editor, and unless they actually added stuff to the game like scrolling in any direction or something like that which isn't present in the original and would require a major overhaul to add, I expect I'd have more freedom working with the original Mega Man 1. Had the graphics been decent, it would have been something quite possibly worth getting, but now the chances are that I'll never touch it because there's no way to mute graphics like there is to mute awful sound.

Good job, Capcom.

Wow. You fail at life so hard.

I fail at life because I think the graphics aren't as good as the original's and I thus would rather stick with the NES version? Seriously, shut the hell up. I'm very sure that I (and most anyone who is willing to pick up a level editor and hex editor) can do more to the NES version of the game than the PSP version's level editor will allow; that fact combined with the original's, in my honest opionion, better graphics means there is nothing for me in this version at all. How that translates into me failing at life, I don't know. If you have nothing worth saying to me, then please, by all means, don't speak to me.

You failed because this is how i interpreted it:

LOL I LIKE MY OLD SCHOOL GRAPHICS BETTER THAN THESE GRAPHICS OLD SCHOOL IS KOOL BECAUSE HOT TOPIC SAID SO.

You didn't even say WHY you didn't like the grapihcs. All you said was that they were horrible over and over again and that the OLD SCHOOL WAS MUCH BETTER KNWO YOUR ROOTS

and Apophis: I didn't mean exactly.

Do you think this graphic is worse than original? I also think so because it's 3D, not 2D graphic.
And, I'll show you new screenshots of this game.
Picture size is bigger than before.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony decided to turn down the remakes because Capcom would have had to release six titles. They were released separately in Japan.

If this is a one-off, I see Sony letting Capcom as long as they want to.
