Uh... I said that already.
I think he was talking to me. because like an idiot I wasn't paying attention to your post to realize that you did it. One more request, is there a way to make this events passed instead of levels. |

Smallhacker already made this block. I couldn't figure out where the passed level data was stored anyway. |

I made a block only passable if 6 certain levels has been beaten. Link. Feel free to modify it to only use one level or something. |

Just count how many levels are before the block, and set that to be how many levels have to be beaten before the block is passable. If you really need it to be a certain level, I can do it, just not yet. Until I find out where the data is stored for which levels have been beaten, I cannot write a block like this. I will post it when I figure it out, though. |

A fellow by the name of rubixcuber created that block a while back. Search through the back pages of the SMW hacking forum to find it. Either that, or just find his username and go to the bottom and click on show posts. He didn't hang around long, so you should find the right one mildly quickly. He made a block that is passable when you have beaten 5 levels, and he told you how to change how many levels that is, too.
Edit: Blah I'm bored. *finds rubixcuber's post*
Originally posted by rubixcuber I believe there is a RAM adress that keeps track of how many levels you've beaten (my notes say $1F2E). I'll write one up tonight maybe and test it out and post it at this thread if it works.

Alright, here you go.
http://www.connieandjaylowe.com/5levels.bin
If you add a block using this file, it will only be passable if you beat at least 5 levels, including switch palaces etc.
If you want to make one for a different number of levels, just make a copy of this file and open it in a hex editor.
The entire file will be this: AD2E1FC9051007A9308D9316A00160
The value 05 that I put in bold is what you want to change. Good luck!
Here you go. |

Can anyone tell where I can find that custom block in which you need to beat a certain number of levels to pass?
thanks in advance. |
