Man, that's disappointing Ice Man. I'll wait, this isn't the first time I waited for something to be released. All there's left to do is finish the hack with the bugs.

Or just open the ROM in a hex editor and add (NOT OVERWRITE) 512 (0x200) bytes to the beginning.

I believe you're supposed to add a header to the ROM before you patch the hack. To do so, get SNESTool, select "Add header". Next, select the ROM you want to add the header to. Type "n" for both "Hirom file" and "Disable Static Ram". After that, then patch the IPS to the rom.

EDIT: Ice Man's post was made while I was making this post. But as suggested, you should try Lunar IPS instead, if that wasn't the IPS patching program you were using.

Your SMW rom has to be 512KB and it works for all people except you. Weird, eh? Get Lunar IPS.

The paratroopa chains are already removed but I have bad news. The hack won't be re-released soon, because I have lots of troubles with it now and I thought about totally redoing it or start a new one, not sure yet. The only thing I know is, that the hack MAY will re-released in some months. Sorry folks.

Beyond that, though, I think it's a pretty cool game so far...not without its problems, of course, but they don't bug me. Other than some things that have been brought up, like the identical-but-different small pipe piranha plants. Still, I've played everything up to the Power Balloon level...where even when I do make it to the box I assume should have the third balloon, nothing comes out of it

Great hack. Great graphics. One tiny little problem though.... Crystal Mines 2... if you don't know what I'm talking about by now, see this post:

What an annoying level. Seriously. Who the hell actually thought of this? An impossible series of jumps, you'd have to do the whole thing ---flawlessly--- to make it. I tried it about 38 times or so, became annoyed, then trashed the rom.

Well, it was great up until then. Nice work.

Those are pretty good screenshots. My least favorite though is this one because it's kind of hard to see the Spinys in there. I didn't even know there were 2 spinys when I first saw the picture.

No, it's not.

He may have fixed it for his hack's ROM, but didn't post a screenshot showing the fix.

Anyway, this looks really cool, Ice Man! The HDMA effects adds more spice, quality, and life to the water levels. Keep it up! I would be glad to play the final product/hack/game.

Anyway a jungle level with snow is still a bit strange. But whatever style you feel is best, go ahead, just trying to offer some advice.

About the jungle level or how I should call it , I will change the gradient palette, so it looks like it's night or afternoon, but definetely darker.

Looking awesome once again Ice Man! I love the HDMA effects (heh heh I'm so proud of myself now that I know what that is ), especially the underwater waves. It all looks superb and your rips are top-notch of course. A couple things that are a bit off include that one jungle level. It's really a lot of clashing things jumbled together, ghosts, a jungle and snow . Plus it looks pretty sunny and bright in the BG to be snowing. And as Dylan Yoshi mentioned, the Pirhana Plant in front of the pipe is really weird. I know there's nothing you could do about it, but it's too weird. Maybe you oughta get rid of the pirhanas for that level, or maybe make some kind of clear pipe instead, like a "glass" pipe that the player can see through and thus see the pirhana.

Anyway, exceptional job, looking forward to the final product.
