Yep, that was the one I mentioned in my last reply.

Interesting place to put an on button.

I've just watched 1 1/2 eps on the PSP (*snuggles the torrent of the entire series in Mp4 format, boots Bit comet for being so bloody slow*) and I have to say I'm smitten, it's really won me ove,r even though it's very twee (which is balanced out by Hideki's perverted nature ) Already in Episode 1 I found a joke for older people (instead of just teens) - I mean the search for Chi's on button - class, and something no dobt a LOT of men have tried

With all of these positive words for it, after I finish watching Read or Die, I may well go download this as well. Hehe.

I thought it was quite cute. I watched the anime first and remember crying my eyes out towards the ending of the series for how things happened and ended. Then whenever I got the manga, I read it and found it to be much more enjoyable than the series - just because it made a bit more sense.

It does go onto that 'what happens when an AI and human fall in love' sort of thing and talks of the possibilities and I think that is why I enjoyed it so much.

At first it didn't look like an anime that I could get into or like, but I started to read the managa while at work, and I found it funny, and maybe a little like commonplace to me. So, one by one I started to watch the anime, and I enjoyed it. And this coming from the person who likes more action and comedy than romance in her anime.

What exactly is "pygmalionism"? I´ve heard that word before.

Welcome back, Ares.

It's pretty good, which is a suprising testamony coming from me conscidering how much I dislike CLAMP (shojo is okay, I just don't like CLAMP specifically).

However, is it just me, or with series like this and Cyber Marrionette J really show the Japanese as fans of Pygmalionism?

Not to mention where the start button on Chii is.

I read it in a pocket.

I guess I'll check it out then if that many people seem to feel positively towards it.

Very good but more mature comedy/romance. Probably one of Clamp's better ones, IMO, with CCS barely beating it out. Some of the themes can get sappy at times, since it's more based on romance than the comedy, but some of those lines can get deep enough to warrant it regardless.

I'd give it a 9 myself. Definitely more geared towards shoujo, but still not a bad animé at all.

I've always heard it's good but I have yet to check it out myself. I probably will in the near future though it seems interesting enough

While there is a lot of fan-service in Chobits, that's not really the reason I'd recommend watching the show.

There is some very sweet characterisation in this, and the story explores some rather serious issues of what might happen if computers looked and acted like people. It has some emotional moments too.

The fan-service and perverted stuff is fun too though, all the jokes about Hideki's "side-dishes" and such are cute

IMO, it was enjoyable (watched it in a day).

Definitly not something you'd want if you want to watch some action, thought.

But it's nice when you've been on a spree on the only thing you watched is action, lots of people killed, etc This can let you relax alittle

I realize this may be misguided asking this question. But I'm looking for some opinions of Chobits. You all seem somewhat of having taste, at least some of you rather. Is it a show that would be enjoyable to watch or is it mostly just fan-service?
