Using Windhex32, I managed to find the area where I can edit level names, so yay.
But, what value do I enter for blank spaces between words? I keep getting lowercase "a"s with odd things above them. |

It's probably just Translhextion being the piece of trash it is. Get WindHex32. |

For the GOAL platform, make sure you have the goal on one part and Yoshi's house about 8 spaces after it. I think that's the only way to make it show up.
About the level names . . I'll PM you a copy of the YITable.tbl, then you can try opening that, if it still doesn't work, then I have no clue whats wrong. |

I got EggVine working, for the most part. A few things are still sketchy but by looking at other levels in the existing Yoshi's Island I've figured them out. One main problem is that the Goal (the roulette itself) isn't appearing, despite the fact the sprite is there (placed on the tile directly above the green goal tiles, three tiles away from the left)...
Also, with translhextion, I need to know exactly why I can't open up the YITable.tbl file. Whenever I do, it says that there's a weird error and it asks me to "Send Error Report" or "Don't Send"...and whatever I click closes out Translhextion, so I can't edit level names...
Please help? |
