Not for DS. The closest they have is a device that lets you boot small homebrew games from GBA flash carts.

Of all of the emulators I've tried, iDeaS seems to work the best. It actually runs the intro to the Metroid demo.

your gpooing to have to wait for the ds dev guys who are hacking the ds to release an emulator that might work okay.

The version of Ensata floating around is very preliminary. A *couple* of DS roms work on it but you're gonna get slow speeds so it's more to look at than anything else.

I'm positive that Nintendo's released more recent and complete versions of Ensata for developers, but don't count on them to be leaked.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to distribute anyway.

Well, there is a DS Emulator that can play very very few commercial ROMs, and it's called "Ensata". Not really worth your time, and somewhat difficult to find. Ensata is an emulator used by official Nintendo DS developers to test simple code quickly.

Edit: I just use a PassMe.

the ds emulators that are out right now CANNOT play commercial roms. i've tried it myself on many emus. sometimes i get the title screen and after that it stops working. but out of all the emus out there...i would haft to say that iDeaS is the best one out there at this point in time.

All of the current DS emulators cannot play commercial roms. Keep your pants on and be patient, because you don't have much of a choice in the matter. =\ Then again, neither does anybody else.
