You don't have to give me credit. Just don't call it your own. The fireball thing was a very simple change. The SMB2 Mario (which is completely finished, btw) is a totally different story. |

Thats OK. The "puff of smoke" routine worked well. No gliches. See:
Poof !! Puff of smoke.
I'm just fiddling with the fireball addresses trying to make Mario shoot them like the Hammer Mario in SMB 3. Thanks again.

Strange. They don't look messed up on my rom, and I made no modification to them.
Do they appear messed up when you smack them with the cape?

The gliches aren't bad. I don't really care for them at all. I'm still going to use it, but here are some examples :
when I shot a shelless koopa
when I shot a jumping fish
when I shot a gate koopa
Those are just some.Like I said,no biggie,but if you CAN fix those gliches ,that would be cool too.
EDIT: The other "puff into smoke" cheat didn't work.
EDIT 2: It did, played the wrong hack.

If at all possible, I would like to know what enemies look messed up when killed in this way. I already know that Dino-Torch and Rex do, and I may be able to fix the graphics for some of them.
As an alternative, you can also replace the string with this: A9 03 9D C8 14 EA EA EA EA This will make enemies disappear in a puff of smoke when hit by a fireball, instead of falling off the screen. |

Thanks. It works, althogh some enemies look glichy when hit, and scoring no points makes the cape way better in the "go for a high score ranks", but it's still way better than collecting that damn coin to keep an enemy from respawning.Thanks again. |

I think I asked this before but...do anyone know (ASM/Hexedit/etc.)how to change Mario's fireballs so that enemies don't turn into coins when hit, they just die, like in SMB 3 ? |
