Ranma ½ - Seasons 1 - 7 (161 eps) and the OAV - 164.99. I'm not sure if it's lower now or not but a friend of mine bought them all at that price. Not a direct Viz thing though.
If you bought that from Viz MSRP retail you would have...
Season 1 and 7: 99.99
Season 2-6: 119.99
OAV: 119.99
So doing my math...the sub's 919.92 and add 8% sales tax US (IL uses it): $993.51 USD.
Just shy of 1000 bucks for that series straight from Viz. I've already got half of it via that route too, not sorry.

The Entire Evangelion series and movies for $ 30
Subtitled in eglish and bootlegged but still watchable.
But it was stolen from me so yeah..it was a great deal back when I had it. |

I Bought the third season of Ranma for $29.95. Course' it was bootlag but, I still can watch the episodes so I really don't care. I also got the first three Inu-yasha movies on ebay for $9.99, once again, bootlag. |

What are the best anime / manga deals you've ever seen out there?
Recently, I purchased the entire DVD Box Set of Rahxephon, brand new, for $57.99
When I've seen the Box Sets of Trigun, and say Eva in the past exceeding $100 easily, and when I noticed Samurai X was directly under Rahxephon for $55.99, I realized I was getting perhaps one of the best deals ever.
But, it's a little sad. Obviously seeing Rahxephon at such a low price just really shows how successful it was -- not very, and it being one of my favorite animes, kind of disappoints me. 
But oh well, I'm very happy with my purchase.  |
