Demo development is one of the first steps in emulation development. Demos can be used to test certain aspects of an emulator without requiring full emulation (like a commercial ROM would). I was under the impression that there was a DS emu that could play demos -- so even if you don't put these demos on a cart (which I'd assume they were made for), they can still be run in an emulator. |

There are DS emulators out there. I'm not sure how far they're developed in terms of playing commercial games, but they can run demos that have been made, as far as I know. If you're actually looking for a DS emulator, here are the three I know of:

:: IDeaS
As I said above, I don't know how far developed they are, but they're worth a look if you're just looking for an emulator to begin with  |

They're already working on an emu.
That doesn't mean that they should give up on ROM work though. Why do that when that's less work they have to do later. |

At dgemu.com they are still making ds roms or the people who make them. Why do they start making roms that you don't have an emulator to play it? There would probably won't make an emulator for ds or it will take a year to make a ds emulator. They should start makinga ds emulator or work on it more than the games. Does anybody agree with me here? |
