Cruel Justice: That was part of it, I took the original picture, had to mess with some of the settings, brightness and contrast to be specific, then turned it monochrome, and then I did much cleaning it up. And it wasn't a scan, it was a picture taken by a shitty webcam. If it was a scan I wouldn't of had to make that black and white, I would've just put a link to the scan, and it would've been crisp, and clear, and kickass. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you make the black and white by saving the scan as a monochrome? It's hard to tell whether the original was hand-drawn or not. |

Uh. It's not anyone from #rom-hacking. Or even a sprite, but  .
I took a picture of a drawing I did [my scanner = ded], but it came out looking like shit, and since it was basically Just blue pen and white paper anyways, I decided to go smooth it out abit in paint, and this is what I came up with. If you think that's awesome in a can, you'd shit yourself if you seen the paper  Looks much better.

Heh. These would work great with that visual IRC thingy, since everyone was using sprites to represent themsevles. Sharkey was using Dracula from SotN sitting in his throne. Others use KoF characters, Samurai Showdown, and whatever else.

Oh. These are more graphical representations on how people act. ie. thadd is evil and calls people gomers. he has a bloody sword and red eyes. Disch is always proving points even if they're wrong, he's pointing at someone and he has a gun. |

I just do them from scratch. They're not supposed to look anything like person, if they do, they do, if not, oh well. Lets say You could make a visual mIRC. Thats how I imagine these people would be represented. I've had people try to give me a photo to sprite them, and I'm like "no"
All I really do is just open up MS Paint, let some music scream, and let my creativity unwind. they said thaddeus, so I drew thaddeus. doesn't mean it's really him, but I call it thaddeus. Just like apophis. He's probably 500% times as ugly. |

I wasn't quite sure how to do his hand. But I like the way he turned out. Took me about 10 minutes looking in the mirror to figure out that pose.
It's thaddeus. you know, the guy who killed vagla or something. Lets say if you don't remember thadd, you're in bad shape No doubt he was the best CV hacker I've ever seen, not to mention he helped sliver X in another of the greatest rom hacks you'll ever see: DXOII. |

I'm thinking back to when I first saw you pulling out this style long ago, and from what I remember, you've made a lot of improvement. I've grown to really enjoy your sprites.
Bit-Blade's position seems awkward. Like his body should be turned more or something.. I'm not sure. But very cool otherwise, like the rest of them.
I think this one's the best of the lot. Nice touch with the fence.
