i heard that it should be as easy to write a mod as for half-life 1. if you know c++ and you have time, you can learn. i'm hoping for a new counterstrike version with the halflife 2 engine. also a new version of fire arms would be good i think. |

No doubt in my mind that HL2 will totally |D0\/\//\/ the competition. From the looks of the trailers and movies, this game will create an immersive gameplay experience that will rip off your head and crap excitement down your neck!  |

Well I'm hyped over Doom 3, Halo 2, and this. So if one isn't as good as it sounds at least I have backup games.
But it was originally supposed to come out like last September, until the code got leaked and that hack went into affect.

Well at least that gives more time to polish the game up and make it better. |

Well, a delay is just slang for more time to work on it.
And with the hacker, it pushed it back, and one of the head Valve guys said the hacker made them push release back, but it will be a better overall product. |

Valve = people who made Half Life, arguably the best game of all time.

Most likely what I'll get Half-Life 2, Doom 3, and Breed for over my PC, unless I can get a good PC ... which I don't see happening anytime soon. |

Better than Halo 2 and Doom 3. That's my guess.
When I saw the 20+ minute trailer of this game I have just been hyped over it since, too bad I'll need a new comp or have to upgrade to play it!
256 DDR ram is just not going to cut it. |
