I think your hack is great Peardian, I just downloaded it not too long ago. I got to the level where all the goal point platform are at the beginning - don't remember the name, I think it's 2-1.

Anyway, I released a demo about 5 minutes ago, so if anyone wants to try it . . .well, I won't type the lecture in here, but you can go to my thread and read it

Looks good. The first few screens looks a little straight forward, but the later ones are a lot better. I'l be looking forward to this.

And, as said, I've only done 2-2. However, I'm very close to finishing 2-3. Then again, you still might beat me. I haven't been very inspired lately.

What do you think of them HH? Good, bad, need improvement somewhere?

I have more screens of 1-2, and a couple of 1-3, but I figure I'll just release a demo after I'm done 1-4, and I'll release more screenies then also.

Yeah, he keeps running out of bandwidth. I can see them now (2:37 PM), and could yesterday afternoon but not in the evening. Try early in the morning (though you'd be going by the server's time; you'd have to find out what that it ).

The problem with loading graphics, besides not knowing how, is that the game can actually switch tilesets (and possibly spritesets) mid-level. A very cool feature, but it makes editing difficult. You'd have to be able to jump between tilesets at any given time while editing.

the only bad point of eggvine is the fact he don't show game graphic, exept for that its work very well, Just an updated version that will load game graphic is ok, specially for sprite because we need to test every time we put a sprite to see if the sprite fit with the tileset

Yes, just makes it have a sharper learning curve.

I promise my next editor will be much more user friendly. And advanced by the word's actual definition rather than what so many people use it to mean.

At least it keeps complete idiots from using it.

EDIT: Well there may be a few exceptions XD

Aww darn he ran out of bandwich before I could see the 2nd set of screens.
By the way, once you've gotten further along if ya need any beta testers I'd be happy to test this one out for ya too.

I honestly . . . seriously . . .never mind . . I just put together a bunch of stuff, and people call it nice. Well, if you guys think it's nice, it must be nice. It's a good thing I got patience, else I wouldn'y be doing this. GoYo was right - this is the most advanced, not user-friendly editor ever. But still sweet.

Sonicandtails: I agree with you. I like 1-1 better, thought I don't dislike 1-2. I think everyone will like 1-3 though, it's based on . . . .

Asuka: I'm sure you've seen nicer than this hack

Honestly, 1-2 looks nice, but not as nice as 1-1. I noticed in Screen 1 though on 1-2 that the right side of the Flower platform isnt aligned right. I know this is tricky, because I just got in a hissy fit the other day because I couldnt get it right...(In case anyones wondering, I was going to start YI hacking for like the 6th time the other day, and I went to make a Flower level, and I couldnt get the damn sides to line up, so I said "Wow forget it.", as I used to know how...)

YI is starting to become popular after Golden Yoshi released his hack. Pretty good level design but what makes me sad is that you put your other hack on hold.

That's my goal . .though isn't Peardian gonna have the second? He's at 2-2 last demo I saw - and his levels are really good also. Maybe I can pull off a third But I'm deifinitely gonna stick with it, and Lunar Magic is on hold for a while. So I'll have lots of time for Eggvine.
