Goodness gracious, I do believe you're trying to use one of the very first ASM hacks (if not the first) I ever released.

I strongly recommend you don't use that, as it was created well before I knew much of anything about SMW's inner workings, and as such is probably very badly written. I may revisit anti-gravity sometime in the future, for use in SMO, and if so I will release an updated (working) patch.

Put the movement block above the ground and only use medium movement block the fast one make him float,Its work well in my space level

That's what I was trying to do. Problem being the most important part of the code is missing.

Why not figure out what the patch is doing and then just paste that code in a place you want it to be in and make your own custom block?

That's actually the problem. The movement block is affected by gravity, which is mucking things up. (People can move downward through an upward movement block by standing still. )

I got these two and I think that the gravity patch is just bad made, for me It have locked my overworld and If you want to simulate gravity why not use movement block insted?

Well thanks, but that answer really doesn't help. And I can name a few people smarter than me.

Your the smartest one I know on the board. I can't imagine someone who could answer this.

A rather long time ago, someone made a custom block that, used with a patch included with it, could change the game's gravity (make Mario fall faster, slower, or even up). I was hoping to use this in my hack, but it uses the same ROM space as d4s's FastROM patch, so the game crashes. I figured I could just move the code, but apparently not... The patch only seems to have inserted a subroutine in the small unused space at $8194, not modifying any of the game's code. This subroutine doesn't even execute, and the block only writes to a RAM address. Am I to assume I have a corrupt patch? (I know it worked at one point, but then didn't seem to do anything anymore. Maybe this is why.)
