Yay it's working! I have one final question about using it! How to you change an object into a different object

Perhaps a nice thick red circle around the Smario3.nes file would be more effective.

Look at the pic, that's what you gotta do...

EDIT Took Kawa's suggestion.

It means you probably aren't supplying the right filename to the program.

I'm sorry about the fact that it was a rom request but I have a question now...!
Has anyone ever encountered an error when trying to start the SMB3D? If so can you tell me what to do for error 6, 56 and 75?

P.S. I did exactily what you said....!

No Blackhole, it -was- a ROM request. Specifically of smario3.nes

Be more descriptive of your problems, or I will have this thread closed. Actually, I should already have done because it was a ROM request of some sorts.

Very lazy. Hardcoded filenames are for crappy test programs you never make anything out of, not public level editors.

Know what that's called? Lazy coders.

Actually, you don't need to, but when you're doing that Discombulator loader you need to type an address relative to the editor.

For example, let's say you got Discombobulator in C:\shortbus\shortbusrampage\ and the ROM (titled smb3.nes) in C:\shortbus, I'm guessing you can type in the text box

..\smb3.nes

and it'll load it.

Of course, in my program that I'm making (and which I'll finish if I ever get around my memory management issues--this is my first big project), you won't have to worry about all that. My program already implements such high tech concepts as the Open/Save Dialog Box and even lets you Save As to a different file name.

You don't need a particular version of the ROM named Smario3.nes. You just need an American SMB3 ROM, and that's it. When you open the editor, type in the ROM's filename, usually smb3.nes or mario3.nes. Don't forget to put it in the same folder as the editor itself (duh!).

If you don't have a SMB3 ROM at all though, then the answer is no. ROM requests are not allowed at this board. Read the FAQ.
